About

Moisture meter testing wall covered in mold.

I am a Texas licensed Mold Assessment Consultant (license number MAC1539) in the DFW area.  As the co-owner of a functional wellness center in Dallas, I have seen first hand how mold and mold related illness can be a burden to individuals and families. If you have a mold issue, I want to help you find the source and get back to a more healthy life.

Mold Assessments

Mold Assessment Services

Mold Inspections start at $800.  This includes a visual inspection of the property, 4 samples, (typically air samples 3 inside, and one outside control sample), and a report on the findings.  After a visual inspection, we may recommend more samples depending on our findings.  The additional samples may include tape lift, swab, or more air samples.  These additional samples are $75 each and will only be collected with the homeowner or their agents approval.  Expedited results can be arranged for additional cost.

Should the inspection reveal the presence of mold, and the homeowner desires remediation by a professional, per TDLR rules, a mold remediation protocol is included. A mold remediation protocol is the guide which a remediator uses to perform the mold remediation.  It outlines methods of protection, cleaning, and removal of mold and affected materials.  It also defines what the criteria for a successful remediation are.

Mold remediation clearance start at $500.    Cost varies depending on the level of testing needed to determine if remediation was successful, base cost includes 3 samples.  Additional samples are $75 each.  Once clearance is achieved, a Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation (CMDR) will be issued.

Failed clearance usually requires retesting. It should be negotiated with the remediator who covers the cost of reclearance.  Reclearance fees will depend on the level or retesting needed.
